Roederer Wine Writers Awards
To Royal Academy of Arts at Burlington House in Piccadilly for the 2016 Louis Roederer International Wine Writers Awards ceremony. Lots of Champagne was poured from magnums, 2010 vintage rosé, presumably pink because Roederer had sponsored a supplement in that day's Financial Times . The venue hall at Burlington Hall is delightful with classic paintings hung on the walls and intricate moulded ceilings covered in gold foil.
